The application for Lakehead Entrance Scholarship for 2020/2021 is now open for international students willing to apply. This scholarship will give applicants an opportunity to study at Lakehead University Canada.
The International Entrance Scholarships is for international students that have great academic achievement and are willing to study a full-time undergraduate programme at Lakehead University. The scholarship will provide the award amount to successful applicants as follows: $7,500 per academic year (For 90%+), $5,000 per academic year (For 80.0% – 89.9%), and $4,000 for one academic year (For 75.0% – 79.9%).
Lakehead University has campuses in Thunder Bay and Orillia, Ontario, Canada and it is known for its public research. This institution is non-denominational and provincially supported and its scholarship is one of the best you can have around.
LAKEHEAD ENTRANCE SCHOLARSHIPS ELIGIBILITY
The criteria for the scholarship are stated below:
- Non-Canadian citizens entering Lakehead University from a well-recognized high school curriculum or applicants transferring from an international college or university. The grant is available to international high school students with good academic performance applying to Lakehead University for the 2022/2023 session.
- International students can also apply for scholarships.
- Applicants whose country’s primary language is not English will have to provide proof of competence in the English language.
- It is compulsory for applicants to have a degree before applying.
LAKEHEAD ENTRANCE SCHOLARSHIPS APPLICATION INFORMATION
- Applicants must first gain admission in the undergraduate degree coursework at the university. They will then be considered for the grant after enrollment.
- Only applications that submit their application form (to the International Office and registered on the scholarship website) before March 15, 2023, will be considered.
