The management of the Kuehne + Nagel Inzuzo Trust Bursary is inviting all eligible candidates to apply for the 2022 bursary. You will find the bursary details and other information below.

Kühne + Nagel was established in 1890 as international transport and logistic company in Switzerland. It provides air freight and sea freight forwarding as well as contract logistics and overland businesses. Currently, this company is located in over 100 countries with 79,000 staff in 1,300 offices.

The Kühne + Nagel Trust Bursary was founded in 2012 to provide support for South African students and it has supported many students since its launch.

KUEHNE + NAGEL INZUZO TRUST BURSARY PROGRAMME ELIGIBLE COVERED

The Kühne + Nagel trust bursary is open to postgraduate and undergraduate black female students in the following field of study:

  • Accounting (BCom)
  • Financial Management (BCom)
  • Information Systems (BCom)
  • Logistics (BCom)
  • Logistics Management (Diploma)
  • Transport Economics (BCom)

COVERAGE VALUE, SERVICE CONTRACT & SELECTION PROCESS

The Kühne + Nagel  Trust Bursary will provide the following support for eligible candidates: prescribed books, tuition fees, accommodation and transport. The bursary value will be decided by the bursary management based on the candidate’s circumstances.

Candidates should note that the bursary funding will be paid directly to the institution.

Below are the selection criteria:

  • All applicants must have submitted their application together with the supporting documents latest by 31 March 2022
  • Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an in-person interview in April 2022.
  • Successful bursary recipients will be announced in May 2022.
  • Applicants will be contacted throughout the selection process.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS FOR THE KN INZUZO TRUST BURSARY

All applicants of the Kühne + Nagel trust bursary must take note of the following eligibility criteria. Applicants must meet all the following requirements:

  • Must be a South African citizen
  • Only black female students
  • Applicants must have completed Matric
  • Applicants studying towards any of the above qualifications.
  • Black South African women who are in financial need and enrolled in their 2nd year, 3rd year, or postgraduate
    studies at an accredited South African university
  • Studying at a recognised and accredited South African university.
  • Have a strong academic record
  • Achieved a minimum overall average of 60% in your most recent year of study
  • You must have strong leadership capability and have engaged in school, university or community activities
  • Students with disabilities can also apply

HOW TO APPLY FOR THE KN INZUZO TRUST BURSARY

To apply for this bursary, applicants are to download and complete the KN Inzuzo Trust Bursary ApplicationForm 2022.

Complete the application form completely and attach the following supporting documents. It is compulsory for applicants to attach supporting documents for their application to be considered. Attach a certified copy of;

  • South Africa ID document
  • Recent passport-sized photo
  • Matric certificate
  • Tertiary academic record (transcript), from your 1st year of tertiary studies
  • High School or University awards for academic/ leadership/ sport/ entrepreneurial achievements (certified copies)
  • A signed and stamped reference letter from a high school teacher or university lecturer
  • Evidence of acceptance/ provisional acceptance letter  from your University on institutions letterhead
  • Financial statements or quotes from the University for the cost of tuition, books, accommodation and other expenses on institutions letterhead
  • Parents or guardian’s proof of household income: latest payslips if employed, affidavit if unemployed, pension advice slip if on pension
  • Parents or guardian’s proof of residence

CLOSING DATE FOR THE KN INZUZO TRUST BURSARY

The closing date for the bursary is 31 March 2022. Failure to submit the application letter and required documents before the closing date will render your application unsuccessful.
