Fields covered by the Cenfri Bursary Programme

Students are invited to apply to Cenfri’s bursary program for the 2024–2025 academic year.

Bursaries will be granted for study in Economics or a similar discipline leading to a master’s level degree.

  • Prospects of joining the research analyst team full-time following graduation and program completion success.

Eligibility Requirements for the Cenfri Bursary

  • You have to require financial assistance.
  • You need to be a skilled writer.
  • You need to be proficient at making presentations.
  • You need to be skilled at interacting with others.
  • You need to be proficient in quantitative reasoning.
  • You need to be an excellent analyst.
  • Advanced verbal and written English language proficiency is required.
  • You need to be a skilled user of Microsoft Office software.
  • You must be able to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Stata and the analysis of household survey data are advantages as well.
  • You have to have a strong interest in real-world development.
  • Students who live in Cape Town will be given preference (so they may fully benefit from the firm experience, mentorship, and workplace experience).

  • Guardians or parents’ proof of income (most recent pay slips if they’re employed, an affidavit if they’re without employment, or documentation of your pension or Sassa grant, if applicable)
