If you are looking for funding for your education, the Mediclinic /ER24 Bursary is calling on all eligible applicants to apply for funding. Mediclinic Southern Africa is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mediclinic International PLC.

It is an international private healthcare group listed on the LSE (London Stock Exchange), the JSE (Johannesburg Stock Exchange) and the NSX (Namibian Stock Exchange).

THE MEDICLINIC / ER24 BURSARY PROGRAMME – FIELDS COVERED & COVERAGE VALUE

Mediclinic and ER24 Bursary is calling on all eligible students to apply for the ongoing funding for the new academic session. Below is the eligible field of study that can apply for the bursary:

  • Emergency Medical Care
  • Nursing

Due to the global talent gap and need for trained healthcare professionals, Mediclinic and ER24 will provide a limited number of bursaries to meritorious students who require financial support.

MORE ABOUT THE MEDICLINIC / ER24 BURSARY PROGRAMME VALUE & RENEWAL

The Mediclinic bursary will cover only the course fees alone for one academic year at a time. Candidates will have to reapply to benefit from this bursary each year which will be awarded based on academic merit.

ER24 bursary board will contact all eligible candidates, those that did not receive any feedback on their application should consider their application unsuccessful.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS FOR THE MEDICLINIC / ER24 BURSARY

Applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements before they can benefit from this bursary. Below are the requirements applicants must take note of before they apply:

  • Completed Matric or you must be currently in Matric
  • Must attain Bachelor’s Pass in Matric
  • Applicants must be studying or planning to study any of the courses above at any accredited South African institution.
  • You must be in financial need
  • Preference will be given to Employment Equity candidates

HOW TO APPLY FOR THE MEDICLINIC / ER24 BURSARY

To apply for the Mediclinic/ER24 bursary, applicants are to download and complete the Mediclinic Bursary Application Form (PDF)

Applicants are to submit a clear certified copy of the following supporting documents together with their application form. It is compulsory for all applicants to submit all documents applicable to them to be eligible for the bursary.

Below are the documents:

  • ID document
  • Matric final results, for those entering their 1st year of study
  • Current academic record/ results on institutions letterhead (those studying already)
  • Proof of acceptance from your tertiary institution on the institution’s letterhead.
  • Parents, guardians or own proof of household income latest payslips if employed, affidavit if unemployed
  • Breakdown of the programme cost

CLOSING DATE FOR THE MEDICLINIC / ER24 BURSARY

The application closing date for the Mediclinic bursary is 31 July 2022. All applicants must submit their application form completely filled and all the required supporting documents to be considered for the bursary.
