The management of Columbus Stainless Bursary is inviting young outstanding South African students to apply for the ongoing bursary. Columbus Stainless was established in 1966, the company is part of the Multinational Acerinox Group and the only stainless steel producer in Africa.
As part of the plan to contribute to the development of South Africa, Columbus is not only producing durable and 100% recyclable stainless steel, the Columbus Stainless Bursary was also organized for young students.
This company also recruits young talented South Africa and train them to become better in the field.

Columbus Stainless Bursary Value
The bursary will provide financial assistance for students and also provide vacation work for the recipient to gain experience.
Eligibility Requirements
Columbus Stainless Bursary has put some requirements in place for the selection of successful applicants. Applicants are to take note of the following eligibility requirements:
- 1st, 2nd and 3rd Year Students studying B.Eng / B.Sc (Eng): Physical Metallurgy / Material Sciences in 2021
- Must be a South African students
- Studying at a recognised institution in South Africa
- Must have completed MATRIC
- Have a good academic record
Required Documents
Applicants are to attach the following supporting documents together with their application form
- CV
- Matric certificate,
- ID
- Complete Academic Record.
The criteria for awarding this bursary is not disclosed to the general public, the board will consider relevant factors but are not limited to the Employment Equity goals. Only successful applicants will be contacted by the board if you did not receive any information after 2 weeks of the closing date from Columbus Stainless Bursary consider your application unsuccessful.
