AFDA Online Application 2022/2023

Aspirants can now apply for AFDA admission online for the 2022/2023 admission exercise.  AFDA is a school for Creative Economy and the institution offers courses in film, business innovation, television, performance, and technology, radio and podcasting.

Before you begin your studies for the year at AFDA enrolment is the final step you will take. All AFDA students, both new and returning students are to go through the enrolment process to make sure the documents submitted and the agreement signed is still valid for the year ahead at AFDA.

All new students that want to enrol at AFDA for their first academic year will have to apply, be accepted and pay the registration fee before they enrol. Returning students that will be starting a new course at AFDA, have to apply and receive acceptance before they can complete enrolment. The enrolment into AFDA for the 2023 learning year will open in January 2023.

Document Checklist

  • Certified copy of ID /passport
  • Certified copy of the fee payers Identity Document
  • Certified copy of proof of residency of fee payer
  • Digital head and shoulders photo (colour)
  • Proof of payment
  • If you select payment plan B or C, proof of income is needed (payslip/ bank statement)
INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS (IN ADDITION TO THE ABOVE)
  • Proof of Study Visa (Certified Copy)
  • Proof of SA Residence
  • Medical Aid/ Insurance Cover for SA

HOW TO APPLY ONLINE TO AFDA

Step 1: Make enquire: To know more about your course, you can contact the nearest campus to book a Career Consultation to meet a staff of AFDA who will put you through and give you advice about the course and also help you with the application process.

Step 2: Apply: After step 1 you can now proceed to complete the online application while doing this attach your report/academic documents and submit the online application form. International applicants should submit all transcripts and supporting documentation with the online application to avoid any delay.

Step 3: Provisional Acceptance: The AFDA campus you applied to will contact you through the email address you input on your online application form regarding acceptance into the course.

Step 4: Register: You can now register online once you have been accepted into AFDA. You will then have to pay a registration fee to secure your position for enrollment.

Step 5: Enrol: You must present yourself at the campus you choose and make sure you follow the enrollment procedure during the enrollment window.
