CSC Shared Funding for Commonwealth Country Students in UK

The application for the CSC Shared Funding for Commonwealth Country Students is now open to study at the University of Lincoln UK for the 2022/2023 session.

The scholarship is a fully-funded scholarship by the University of Lincoln to train students that wish to take a career in one of the world’s largest industries, agri-food. The program aims to support international students from commonwealth countries that cannot afford to study in the UK without financial aid to help achieve their dream.

The University of Lincoln offers courses in arts, science, social sciences, and business. It is one of the best scholarships available in commonwealth countries.

CSC SHARED FUNDING ELIGIBILITY

The candidate is chosen on the following criteria:

  •  Must be from a commonwealth country
  • Ready to get MSc in Agri-food Technology. The course is accredited by the Institute of Food Science and Technology (IFST).
  • Permanent resident of any commonwealth country.
  • A citizen of or granted refugee status by an eligible Commonwealth country, or be a British Protected Person
  • Applicants that will be available for the September/October 2020 academic studies in the UK
  • By September 2020, the applicant must hold a first degree of at least second class upper (2:1), or a second class degree with a relevant postgraduate qualification (usually a Master’s degree). The CSC does not fund a second UK Master’s degree.
  • The candidate must not have studied or worked for one (academic) year or more in a high-income country
  • Applicants that can’t afford UK Universities.
  • Candidates must meet the university admission requirements, this varies according to country. Applicant must have a first-class or second-class honour degree to apply for the MSc degree.
  •  English Language requirements depend on the applicants’ course of study. Overseas students are to show proof of English proficiency with IELTS 6.0 overall with a minimum of 5.5 in each element.
