How to Recover your CUT STUDENT Portal Forgotten Password?

Follow the steps below to recover your CUT student portal password:

• On your browser, visit www.cut.ac.za click on the top blue banner on students, and select CURRENT STUDENTS.
• Click the student password registration.
• Sign in with your username
• Your initial password will be P@ss and your ID number
• Input your cell phone number as the authentication phone number and select the region for South Africa.
• Click on “text me”. You will receive a verification code on your phone. Input this code in your text box and click on verify.
• Click finish

How to Reset your CUT STUDENT Portal Forgotten Password?

• On your browser, visit www.cut.ac.za click on the top blue banner on students, and select CURRENT STUDENTS.
• Click on student password reset.
• Input your Username in the USER ID Box
• A character will show on your screen, input the character in the picture in the box provided and click on next.
• Click on “text me”. You will receive a verification code on your phone. Input this code in your text box and click on Next
• Enter a new password and confirm the same password.

When resetting your password, make sure the new password is what you can remember or you can write it down somewhere.
