Distell is offering a one-year internship program for students to gain work experience in different fields in the company. The Distell Internships are open to students from all over the world.
This is a yearly programme by Distell which starts on the 31st of January of every year. Interested applicants can start submitting their CVs as the application portal is currently open and will close by February 1 2022.
If you are in your final years in any of the eligible fields of study, here is your opportunity to gain real experience in your chosen field of study.
Successful applicants for this internship will resume their 12 months of work experience from the 1st of February of every year.

Students in the following field of study can proceed to the Distell website to check the advertisement and start their application;
- Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical)
- Quality/Management/Food Technology
- Production Management
- Operations Management
- Finance
- Lab Analyst
- Sales
- Trade Marketing
- Marketing
- Logistics
- HR
There is an opportunity for graduate students also to gain experience in different fields in the company. Distell offers internships for graduates in the following field;
- Logistics/Supply Chain
- Marketing
- Sales
- Human Resources

Required Documents
Applicants are to submit certified copies of the following documents to be considered for the internship
- Covering letter/ Motivational letter,
- A curriculum vitae,
- Driver’s license and own vehicle (will be an advantage).
- Ability to work in a team
- Computer literate in MS Office
- Certified academic record,
- Certified copy of Grade 12,
- A letter from the tertiary institution,
- A format for evaluation, required by the tertiary institution,
- Certified copies of Identity Document.
- Must be willing to travel
- Must be a South African citizen
- A completed BCom Acc (Hons)/CTA degree (will enjoy preference).
- A completed BCom Acc degree (will also be considered).
Application Deadline
The application for the Distell Internship is open and will close by February 1 2022. Late application will not be accepted.
CAT Programme (CA’s in Training)
If you are interested in the Distell CAT programme, it has been accredited by SAICA to offer 3 years TOPP programme for Accounting graduates. Distell has setup some eligibility requirements for applicants, the requirements are below;
- A completed BCom Acc (Hons)/CTA degree (will enjoy preference).
- A completed BCom Acc degree (will also be considered).
- Certified copies of the latest academic records.
- Driver’s license and own vehicle (will be an advantage).
- Ability to work in a team.
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Computer literate in MS Office.
- SAP experience (will be an advantage).
- Willingness to travel.
- South African citizen.
Successful applicants of the TOPP programme will resume a 36-month contract from the 1st of January every year.
