The management of Hulamin Bursary is inviting all eligible students to apply for its ongoing bursary. Hulamin is an aluminium semi-fabricator and also fabricate aluminium products.

The company is giving out bursaries to students in the field applicable to the company to help sustain the company with quality staff.

The bursary is available for students in the following field of study;

  • Metallurgical Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Industrial Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Accounting
  • BSC Comp. Sc / Stats / Maths

Bursary Value

The Hulamin bursary will take care of the following students need relating to their education:

  • Registration Fees
  • Tuition Fees
  • Accommodation and Meal  Fees
  • Book Fees
  • Annual Cash Allowance
  • A notepad computer is required to work at Hulamin for one vacation per year.

Eligibility Requirements

Below are the eligibility requirements applicants must meet to benefit from the Hulamin Bursary;

  • Must be a South African citizens
  • From previously disadvantaged backgrounds
  • Residents in Pietermaritzburg or its surrounding area are eligible.
  • In Matric or have completed Matric
  • Entring 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th year of undergraduate next session
  • Students of a recognised South African institution or intending to study
  • Meet the admission requirements of the institution applied to
  • Students who are in Grade 12 must have:
    • A minimum B symbol in Mathematics (higher grade), Physical Science (higher grade) and English for an engineering degree
    • OR a minimum B symbol in Accountancy and English for an accounting degree
  • Student the entry requirements of the university they applied to
