Application is now open for South African Students that want to apply for the Humanin Bursary.

Hulamin is an aluminium semi-fabricator and fabricator of aluminium products in South Africa. The company offer bursaries to compete in the world market on an annual basis in many disciplines that are key to the company performance and long term sustainability as a business.

The bursaries are available in the following disciplines:

  • Metallurgical Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Industrial Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Accounting

Humanin Bursary Worth

The Bursary will take care of the following recipients’ expenses:

  • Registration Fees
  • Tuition Fees
  • Accommodation and Meal  Fees
  • Book Fees
  • Annual Cash Allowance

Second-year bursars are qualified for a notepad computer and are to work at Hulamin for at least one vacation period per year.

Bursary Requirements

The bursary is open to South African citizens from a previously disadvantaged background and is resident in Pietermaritzburg or its surrounding area are eligible.

Students who are in Grade 12 must have:

  • A minimum B symbol in Mathematics (higher grade), Physical Science (higher grade) and English for an engineering degree
  • OR a minimum B symbol in Accountancy and English for an accounting degree

Only students who intend studying for a first degree are eligible.

Students must meet the entry requirements at an approved University for the chosen field of study.

Applications:

The application is for a University degree only.

Only successful applicants will be notified by the end of October each year. If you did not receive any notification by then, your application is unsuccessful.
