SizweNtsalubaGobodo was established after the merger between two auditing firms in 2011 – Gobodo Incorporated and SizweNtsaluba. Gobodo Incorporated was a black chartered accountant firm in South Africa. It is the first to employ an African black female chartered accountant in the country. SizweNtsaluba VSP was established as an advisory and business consultancy firm in 1985.
The African firm provides a full range of advisory, auditing and forensic services for companies. The aim of the corporation is to develop African leadership via a leadership legacy which aims to adapt to the African economic landscape.
This firm provides their services in the following sectors Financial Services; Retail and Wholesale; Healthcare; Education; Technology, Media and Communications; Transport, Logistics and Aviation; Energy and Chemicals; Defence; Art, Entertainment and Broadcasting; Property and Construction; Agriculture; Minerals and Mining.
SizweNtsalubaGobodo: FIELDS COVERED
This bursary is available for students that want to pursue a degree in Chartered Accountancy. Applicants of this bursary must be ready to conduct themselves in a professional way, have integrity, excel technically and have an objective view.
This bursary has helped so many young black students to achieve their dream of becoming CA. SNG bursary will take care of the following student expenses: tuition fees, prescribed textbooks and accommodation.
Another benefit of the bursary is a chance to partake in paid vacation work, mentoring to prepare for exams, and setting up of portfolios.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Applicants of this bursary must meet the following eligibility requirements to qualify for the bursary:
- Must be a South African citizen
- Currently in Grade 11 or Matric year of study
- Achieving a minimum of 60% in English and Mathematics
- Proof of financial need (previously disadvantaged individual)
- Intend on becoming a Chartered Accountant (SA)

After filling the form completely, applicants are to attach a certified copy of the following supporting documents together with the application form
- ID document
- Grade 11 latest results
- Students currently in Matric should submit Matric latest results
- Motivational letter explaining why you deserve the bursary
