Ninety One Bursary Scheme 2022

The management of Ninety One Bursary is inviting all eligible South African students to take part in the 2022 bursary. The bursary board are committed to investing in the future, talent and supporting South African students potential.

The objective of the bursary is to strengthen the South African labor force in areas where skills are needed. Ninety One Bursary is made available for young talented matriculants that need financial support and non-financial support to help them achieve their academic goal.

Ninety One’s imperative is to invite young talent from different backgrounds to assist them in building a rewarding career. This bursary is open for students that will start their academic year in 2022.

Bursary Value

The Ninety One Bursary will take care of the following; Full tuition, accommodation, meals and learning material.

Ninety One Bursary Eligible Field

Students starting their academic study in 2022 in the following field of study are eligible to apply for the bursary:

• Financial services
• Technology & Computer science
• Engineering
• Healthcare (excl. medicine, dentistry, veterinary science)
• Psychology
• Education

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants of the Ninety One Bursary must meet the following requirements:

• Must be intending to study in one of the above field of study in 2022 at an accredited institution
• Be a South African citizen and not older than 21 in 2022
• Financially disadvantaged applicants (Family income of less than R600 000 per annum)*
• Must meet the admission requirements of their course of study at higher institution
• Demonstrate academic excellence
• Obtained a minimum of Level 6 (70%) in English and mathematics or sciences in Grade 11
• Demonstrate leadership qualities

Note: Mitigating circumstances will be taken into account where applicable.
