Mediclinic Bursary

Application is now open for eligible students to apply for the Mediclinic Bursary. The bursary eligibility and the required documents are below.

The management of the Mediclinic bursary is calling on all eligible students to apply for their bursary. Mediclinic International Plc is a private hospital that operates in South Africa, Namibia, Switzerland, and the United Arab Emirates.

The Mediclinic South Africa has its headquarters in Stellenbosch and it is listed on JSE (Johannesburg Stock Exchange) and the LSE (London Stock Exchange).

Mediclinic Bursary

MEDICLINIC BURSARY ELIGIBLE FIELDS

Students studying in the following medical field will be awarded bursaries by Mediclinic and ER24;

  • Emergency Medical Care
  • Nursing
  • Pharmacy

The bursaries will be awarded to the qualified students for a year, however, students can apply again for the bursary if they meet the requirements.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Applicants of the Mediclinic bursary must meet the following requirements to qualify for the bursary. Failure to meet all the requirements will make the application ineligible;

  • Must be a South African resident
  • Completed Matric OR currently in Matric
  • Studying or intend on studying full-time within one of the eligible fields of study
  • Studying or registered to study at a recognized tertiary institution in South Africa
  • Proven financial need
  • Preference will be given to Employment Equity candidates

HOW TO APPLY FOR THE BURSARY

Together with the application form, applicants must attach the following documents with their application form. Applicants should make sure they submit a clear certified copy of the required documents. It is compulsory to submit all the documents to be eligible for the bursary;

  • ID document
  • If currently in Matric, submit grade 11 final results AND Matric’s latest results
  • Matric certificate, if completed Matric
  • Full tertiary academic record, if currently studying at tertiary level
  • Proof of registration or acceptance to study at the tertiary level (on tertiary letterhead)
  • Parents/ guardians/ applicant proof of income (latest payslips if employed/ affidavit if unemployed/ financial statements if self-employed)
