KwaDukuza Municipality, a hub of vibrant economic development, is offering a wide range of internship positions. These opportunities are not for the faint-hearted, as they require determination and passion to thrive in a competitive environment. Remember to include the post title and identification number (KZ292) on your application. This is a mandatory requirement.

Eligibility for KwaDukuza Municipality Internships:

Local residents must attach the Preferred Employment Opportunity Form, available from KDM Human Resources. Ensure that the form is signed by a Ward Councillor.

Intern: Town Planning Requirements: Grade 12 and an NQF 5/6 qualification in Town Planning.

Intern: Administration (4 Positions Available) Requirements: Grade 12 and an NQF 5/6 qualification in Public Administration.

LED Intern (Local Economic Development) Requirements: Grade 12 and an NQF 6 qualification in Local Economic Development or a related field such as Economics, Business Management, Entrepreneurship, Community Development, etc.

Museum Intern Requirements: Grade 12 and an NQF 6 qualification in Heritage Studies, Heritage Management, Anthropology, Cultural Studies/Science, Cultural and Heritage Tourism, Historical Studies, History, or a related field.

Sports Development Intern Requirements: Grade 12, an NQF 5/6 National Diploma in Sports Management/Sports Sciences, and a Code 8 Driver’s License.

How to Apply:

  • Obtain the KwaDukuza Municipality’s Application Form from their website.
  • Include certified copies of your qualifications, identity document, and driver’s license (if applicable).
  • Address your application to the Municipal Manager, KwaDukuza Municipality, P.O. Box 72, KwaDukuza, 4450, and submit it to the Human Resources Department. You can either hand-deliver it to the HR Officer at 34 Chief Albert Luthuli Street, OK MALL BUILDING, KwaDukuza or send it via mail.
  • Remember, the deadline is Wednesday, 21st June 2023 at 12:00. Late applications will not be considered.
  • Please refrain from faxing or emailing your application.
  • Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for further communication. If you do not receive a response within 3 months, unfortunately, your application was not successful this time.
