How To Calculate University Of Kwazulu-Natal, UKZN APS

The Admission Point Score is very important when it comes to getting admission into a South African University. APS is a tool uses by universities to know if applicants qualify for the course they want to study. UKZN just like other university has a unique way of calculating APS for applicants.

UKZN APS Breakdown

You will have to add your six best subject to calculate your APS, this excludes Life Orientation and Maths Paper 3.

All applicants will have to meet a particular APS before they can be considered for admission into UKZN. There is a point for all the matric subject you write in an exam. Your point in each exam score depends on the percentage you score in the exams. The Admission Point Score is the sum total of your points you score.

Please note: To be on a safer side, applicants are to strive hard to score high in their matric exams.

Some programme will require you to submit other requirements like a portfolio of work, audition of interview. Check the faculty you are applying to if you need any of it.
