FORD MOTOR COMPANY BURSARY: FIELDS COVERED & OTHER OPPORTUNITIES
The FMCSA is offering bursary with the support of the National Government’s drive of skill development, for final year students to complete their tertiary education. The bursaries will be awarded to students in the following fields of study (for final year students only):
- Finance
- Industrial Engineering
- Purchasing
- Information Technology
- Marketing
- Mechanical Engineering
On graduation, recipients of this bursary will take part in the Graduate Trainee Program to give them the opportunity to gain invaluable practical experience in their career field.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Applicants of this bursary must meet the following requirements to awarded this bursary:
- Must be a South African citizen
- Completed Matric
- Final year students studying in one of the aforementioned fields of study
- Studying at a recognised tertiary institution in South Africa
- Have strong academic results
HOW TO APPLY FOR THE BURSARY
To apply for this bursary download and complete the FMCSA Ford Bursary Application Form (.pdf). After filling the form completely, applicants are to attach a certified copy of the following supporting documents together with the application form.
- ID document
- Matric certificate
- Full academic record to date (on tertiary letterhead)
- Curriculum Vitae
The documents must be a scanned copy and not larger than 1MB. Applicants are to submit the application form and supporting documents electronically via email to [email protected].
Note: Use the words “Bursary – your field of study” in the email subject field e.g. “Bursary – Finance”.
CLOSING DATE
The submission for this bursary is open throughout the year. There is no closing date for the application.
