It is the biggest eggs producer in South Africa, Quantum runs a diversified feed and poultry business. Below are the Quantum Foods Business units:
Animal Feeds: The company has 5 feed mills located in Pretoria, George, Peterson and Malmesbury. They sell their feed under the Nova Feeds brand.
Farming: Quantum is into Layer Farming and Broiler Farming
Eggs: Its eggs are processed at 6 grading and packing facilities located in Western Cape, Eastern Cape (two), Free State, KwaZulu-Natal and Gauteng.

QUANTUM FOODS BURSARY PROGRAMME – FIELDS COVERED
The Quantum Foods Bursary is inviting postgraduate students that are passionate about Animal Nutrition (Monogastric and Ruminant) for its 2022 academic year funding.
Quantum will provide funding for two students that are studying towards an MSc Agriculture /Honour degree.
COVERAGE VALUE & SERVICE CONTRACT
The bursary will take care of recipients full or partial tuition fees for the remaining of the study programme. Recipients will have to work at Nova Feed Business for 12 months where they will be exposed to practical training and will be given a salary.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS FOR THE QUANTUM FOODS BURSARY
Applicants of this bursary must meet the following requirements to be eligible for the bursary. Failure to meet all the requirements will render your application unsuccessful:
- Applicants must be a South African citizen
- You must be studying or intend on studying MSc Agriculture / Honours qualification, in 2022
- Studying or intend on studying at a recognised and accredited tertiary institution in South Africa
- You must have a strong academic record

There is no special application form for the bursary. Submit a certified clear copy of the following:

- Curriculum Vitae
- Full academic record on institutions letterhead
- Proof of registration into a tertiary institution or acceptance on institutions letterhead
CLOSING DATE
The closing date for the Quantum Foods Bursary is on 14 January 2022. All supporting documents should be submitted on or before this date, late submission will not be considered.
