How to Apply to a South African University
Prospective students can submit applications to their preferred universities from the list provided above. Here’s what you will need to complete your application:
- A certified copy of your ID or passport (mandatory).
- Certified Grade 11 end-of-year examination results (for current Grade 12 students) or your National Senior/Matric/IEB Certificate (if you have already completed Grade 12).
- If you are rewriting your NSC, please indicate this on your application and provide proof of your re-write.
- Certified copies of your degree certificate(s) and academic record (if you are currently a student at SMU or another university).
- A certified copy of your marriage certificate (if applicable).
