The management of the Klaus-Jurgen Bathe Leadership Scholarship is calling on eligible candidates to apply for the annual scholarship that is available for UCT undergraduate students. It is for students that demonstrate leadership potential.
The scholarship provides financial support for students and at the same time develops their leadership potential through programs put in place by the board.
University of Cape Town Leadership Scholarships Program Value
- A total amount of R120,000-00 per year is given out to students which are intended to cover tuition fees, accommodation, meals, and an allowance for books, stationery, and transport.
- Recipients will also have the opportunity to attend a 6-week internship in the USA, Germany, or South Africa, which will be funded by the program.
Requirements for University of Cape Town Leadership Scholarships Program Qualification
- It is open to all students of UCT
- Open to first-year students and students that have completed their first year.
- The scholarship cannot be held for a period of fewer than two years.
- Postgraduate students are not eligible to apply
