NATIONAL CERTIFICATE VOCATIONAL (NCV) ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

General admission requirements: Applicants for Level 2 Grade 9 or Higher/ NQF Level 1; ABET Level 4
UTILITIES & SOCIAL STUDIES PROGRAMMES ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
  • Hospitality: Grade 9 pass or higher with t least a C-symbol in the English Language
  • Tourism: Grade 9 pass or higher with Tourism; HSS and Highly recommended t least a C in English Language
  • Safety in Society: Grade 9 pass or higher and results of applicants will determine the selection
BUSINESS STUDIES PROGRAMMES ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
  • Marketing: At least Grade 9 pass or higher with Commerce and Human Science stream
  • Generic Management: Grade 9 pass or higher with Commerce and must have passed Accounting
  • Finance; Economics & Accounting: At least Grade 9 pass or higher with Mathematical and Accounting background
  • Office Administration: Grade 9 pass or higher with at least one Commercial subject
ENGINEERING STUDIES PROGRAMMES ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
  • Civil Engineering & Building Construction: Grade 9 pass or higher with both Mathematics and Science
  • Electrical Infrastructure Construction: Grade 9 pass or higher with both Mathematics and Science
  • Engineering & Related Design: Grade 9 pass or higher with both Mathematics and Science
  • Information Technology & Computer Science: Grade 9 pass or higher with both Mathematics and Science

General admission requirements: for N1 Grade 12 pass with Mathematics and Science
N4: Grade 12 with Mathematics and Science

ENGINEERING N1-N6 PROGRAMMES ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
  • Civil Engineering: Grade 12 pass with both Mathematics and Science Mechanical Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering Heavy current/Light Current: Grade 12 pass with both Mathematics and Science Mechanical Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering: Grade 12 pass with both Mathematics and Science Mechanical Engineering
BUSINESS STUDIES PROGRAMMES ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
  • Art and Design: Grade 12 pass with Art Instructional offering and a portfolio.
  • Business Management: Grade 12 Pass Or NC(V) Level 4 Finance; Economics and Accounting. Accounting and English 40%
  • Clothing Production: Grade 12 Pass Or NC(V) Level 4
  • Human Resources Management: Grade12 pass with Business studies/Commercial Subject background would serve as an advantage
  • Hospitality: Grade12 and Hospitality NC(V) Level 4.Hospitality related subjects; English 40%.
  • Marketing: Grade 12 pass or higher with Commerce and Human Science stream
  • Public Relations: Grade 12 pass or higher with Commerce and Human Science stream
  • Financial Management: Grade12 pass with a minimum of 40% for Accounting / NC(V) level 4 Finance; Economics and Accounting
  • Public Management: Grade12 pass with Business studies/Commercial Subject background would serve as an advantage
  • Tourism: Grade 12 Pass Or NC(V) Level 4 Tourism; Geography; History and English 40% Pass
  • Legal Secretary: Grade 12 pass Word Processing/Typing and English 40% pass/NC (V) Level 4 Office Administration.
  • Management Assistant: Grade 12 pass Word Processing/Typing and English 40% pass/NC (V) Level 4 Office Administration.

Tshwane North General Admission requirements

Below are the general requirements for all courses:

  1. An email address which will be used to complete your application
  2. South African applicants will need their ID number while foreign applicants will need their passport number.
  3. Pay your application fees once Tshwane North TVET College assign you a student number.

    Am I would like to ask if you could help cause its been a while.
    I want to complete my grade 12(matric) cause at year( 2019)i was selected to write meo(more examination opportunity) so I only wrote 4 subjects that year.
    So do you offer such opportunities? or can I get advice on how I can complete my grade 12(matric)
