The Pau scholarship 2021/2022 aim is to train young Africans to take leadership, academic, industrial, innovative, and entrepreneur roles that will ake Africa to compete in the global market.
This program is an initiative of African Union Heads of state and government to provide adequate postgraduate education with the goal of achieving a prosperous and peaceful Africa.
This scholarship is open to all young, qualified, talented, and enterprising applicants in Africa and the Africans in the diaspora to apply for postgraduate programs in any PAU institutes.
PAU University Scholarship 2021 Masters Programmes Admission Requirements
All applicants must satisfy all the following requirements:
- Candidate must not be above 30 years of age for males and 35 years for female applicants
- Have a recognized Undergraduate degree from a reputable university with at least second class upper or its equivalent in a relevant field to the program applied for;
- Certified copies of relevant certificates, transcripts (from university and high school)
- Passport or National I.D. card (personal details page)
- Clear colored passport size photograph (2cmx2cm)
- CV
- Present a recommendation letter from a lecturer (previous university)
- Names of 3 Reference University lecturers (with an email address and WhatsApp number) (*Compulsory)
Admission Requirements for Doctoral Programmes
All applicants must satisfy all the following requirements:
- Candidate must not be above 30 years of age for males and 35 years for female applicants;
- Have a recognized Master degree from a reputable university with at least second class upper or its equivalent in a relevant field to the program applied for;
- Certified copies of relevant certificates, transcripts
- Passport or National I.D. card (personal details page);
- Clear colored passport size photograph (2cmx2cm);
- CV;
- Present two recommendation letters from two professor;
- A 3 to 4-page Research Concept Note (tentative title, research questions, objectives, the significance of the research, etc…);
- Present names of 3 Reference University Teachers (with an email address and WhatsApp number);(Mandatory);
- Applicants may be called for a written/oral examination after pre-selection.
- Applicants of the Master in Conference Interpreting and Translation programs must have excellent knowledge of at least two of the African Union’s official languages (Arabic, English, French, Spanish, and Portuguese).

All successful applicants will be awarded a full scholarships. The beneficiary of the scholarship is required to commit to working in Africa after graduation.

The closing date for the submission of applications with all supporting documents is on the 30th of July, 2021. Failure to submit before then will make your application void.
