UJ late enquiry

The University of Johannesburg, UJ late enquiry system is now open for all students that want to change course or do any other things. Students should note that the University of Johannesburg does not charge fees to assist with late enquiries.

If you want to make enquiries on the available space in a qualification at UJ or you want to change to another course of study, you are to use the late application enquiry between 21 January 2022 (20:00) and 27 January 2022 (09:00).

The late enquiry system will only have the space available in the UJ Late enquiry system for applicants that meet the minimum requirements. The UJ late enquiry system might close early depending on the volume of applications.

Close – 27 January 2022 (09:00)*

Note: Dates are subject to change and there will be no walk-ins for late enquiries in January/February 2022.

The UJ final selection will be done after the release of grade 12 results, each applicant will be informed within 5 working days through email and SMS on the outcome of their application.

Applicants do not need to visit the UJ campus for their application status confirmation if they have not received an email or SMS regarding your application within 5 working days after the release of the grade 12 results you can use this link to check your application status or call the UJ Call Centre (011 559 4555).

How to use UJ Late Enquiry System

Follow the below step by step guide to using the UJ late enquiry system:

Step 1: Submit either your UJ student number, Grade 12 examination number or ID number and then click on the submit button.

Note: Those that have UJ student numbers will be required to input their iEnabler PIN. If you have forgotten your iEnabler pin, no need to panic, follow the steps below to recover your iEnabler Pin:

  • On the iEnabler page input your student number and click on the request pin.
  • A pin will be sent to your email address
  • Click on the back button on your browser to input your student number and PIn to continue (alternatively you can contact the UJ Call Centre at 011 559 4555)

Step 2: Verify your personal details and click on confirm.

Step 3: New/Previous application confirmation:

  • a) If you have not applied at the University of Johannesburg, the system will indicate whether you qualify for any available qualification.
  • b) For those that have previously applied in the 2021 Academic year, the system will indicate their application status for the qualification(s) they applied for.

If your application status is positive and you will like to continue with the qualification, click on the registration information to get all the information you need on UJ registrations. If you are not happy with the qualification given you can click on the change qualification button.

You should note that only admitted applicants can proceed with UJ registration.

Step 4: The system will show the qualification you qualify for and still have space available per Faculty/College. You are to select your preferred Faculty/College.

Step 5: A list of available qualifications within the Faculty/College will be displayed. Select the qualification you are interested in.

Step 6: If you are happy with your selection click on submit an enquiry. If you are not happy with your selection click on make a different selection to restart the process.

Step 7: Enter your cell phone number and click on submit. Your application is now submitted, wait for a response from UJ within 5 working days.

Note: Transfer (did studies at another University/College) and Entering (did previous studies at UJ) applicants will not be taken into consideration.
