Germany, Finland and Norway are great places to study, the exciting thing about studying in the European countries is the free education they offer. Tuition fees for international students in Finland
All the public universities in Finland are divided into the universities of applied science and regular universities. All the public universities in the country are all tuition-free for students coming from EU/EEA countries and Switzerland. Any international student from non-EU/EEA countries enrolling in English taught degree will have to pay tuition fees. But if the student is applying for a programme taught in Finnish or Swedish, he/she will not have to pay tuition fee.
The minimum tuition fee an international student will pay is around 1,500 EUR/year for Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes as set by the Government. Most of the universities charge more than the price set by the government for their programmes. Finland public universities charges around 5,000 to 15,000 EUR per year, the University of Helsinki, is the most expensive. It is obvious that private universities will charge more.

Tuition fees for international students in Germany
Germany is the home of free education, 15 out of its 16 states offers free education to students coming from all part of the world. You can study for free in German public university no matter the continent you are coming from. The only fee you will have to pay is the administrative fee (which include the student union registration, bus tickets to the university and others). The administrative do cost between 100 to 350 EUR per semester.
The Federal State of Baden-Württemberg is the only state in Germany that charge tuition fee for Non-EU/EEA students. This started at the end of 2017 when it introduces tuition fees for non-EU/EEA citizens. Also, if you want to do a Master degree or PhD in a course not related to your course, you will have to pay tuition fee.

Tuition fees for international students in Norway
Norway also offers tuition-free education for international students coming to study in the country public universities. This is applicable to both EEA/EU and Non-EEA/EU students. All you will pay for is the semester fee which is at the range of 30 – 60 EUR for the student union. This fee will cover health and counselling services, sports and cultural activities.
If you apply to a private institution, you will have to pay tuition fee no matter the country you are coming from. Private universities in Norway are very cheap compared to other European countries. The private universities tuition-fee ranges from 7,000 to 19,000 EUR per year.
The living expenses in Norway per month is within 700 to 1400 EUR except in Oslo where it is around 2000 EUR per month.
