North West Provincial Government Bursary 2022, is given to South African citizens who reside within the West Province. The North West Provincial Government, which is one of the departments of the South African government is solely responsible for the bursary programme.

The Pioneer department-North West Provincal Government; provides leadership for effective, efficient, coordinated and integrated service delivery for the province (and its resident) growth and development.

North West Provincial Government  has other departments and they include:

 THE NORTH WEST PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENT BURSARY 2022 – SELECTION

Within 4 months of the closing date of The North West Provincial Government Bursary 2022 (from 7 January-7 May, 2022), shortlisted candidates will be reached out to.

Candidates should kindly regard their application as unsuccessful, if they do not receive any feedback by this time.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS FOR THE NORTH WEST PROVINCAL GOVERNMENT BURSARY  2022

To be eligible for the North West Provincal Government Bursary 2022, applicants before applying must meet the following minimum entry criteria.

P.S: Kindly note, failure to meet all the requirements will lead to your application not being considered:

  • Applicants must be South African citizens.
  • Applicants must reside within the North West province.
  • Applicants must have completed Matric.
  • In 2022, applicants must be studying or intend on studying full-time, towards one of the qualifications listed above.
  • Applicants must be studying or intend on studying at a recognized and accredited South Africa tertiary institution.
  • Applicants must be in need of financial need.
  • Applicants must have a strong academic record.

 

HOW TO APPLY FOR THE NWPG BURSARY 2022

To apply for the North West Provincial Government Bursary 2022, kindly follow these processes:

  1. Download and complete the North West Provincial Government Bursary Application Form 2022 (.pdf)
  2. Alternatively, you can collect an application form at one of these Offices or Distribution Centers:
  • Office of the Premier: Bursary Offices (Ga-Rona Building, Ground Floor)
  • Labour Centres, District Municipalities, Local Municipalities, High Schools, Traditional Authority Offices
  • Office of the Premier Regional Offices: Brits – 45 Harrington Street/ Bojanala – Opposite NW FM, Mabe Business Park/ Dr Ruth Segomotsi Mompati – Mini-Garona Building, Entrance B, Vryburg/ Dr Kenneth Kaunda – 309 West end Centre, Leask Street, Klerksdorp

3. Applicants with their completed application form should submit clear copies of the following supporting documentation.

P.S: Compulsorily, the submission of these documents must be done. Any missing items will lead to your application being disqualified:

  • ID document (certified copy)
  • Matric final results/ certificate (certified copy) (NSC certificate must be submitted as soon as possible after the release date)
  • Final results/ latest academic results, if currently studying (certified copy)
  • Proof of University acceptance letter, if available (certified copy)
  • Parents or guardians proof of income (latest payslips if employed, affidavit if unemployed, pension statements if on state pension, death certificate if deceased)
  • Proof of residence (letter from Traditional Authority Offices if residing in a village, letter from Municipality Offices if residing in a Town, Township or farm) (NOT statement of account, e.g. water bill, etc.)
  • Proof of disability, if disabled (doctors letter/ medical record)

Note: Submit your application without these documents and send the outstanding documents at a later stage, if you have not yet received your University acceptance and final year-end results (at Matric or Tertiary level).
