Job Title: Nigeria Communications and Relationships Specialist
Location:Â Abuja (FCT)
Contract Duration: 2 Years
Preferred Start Date: As soon as possible
 About One Acre: One Acre, founded in 2006, supplies smallholder farmers with the agricultural services they need to make their farms more productive. We provide quality farm supplies on credit, delivered within walking distance of farmers’ homes, and agricultural trainings to improve harvests. We measure our success by our ability to make farmers more prosperous: On average, farmers harvest 50 percent more food after working with One Acre Fund. We serve more than 800,000 farm families in Eastern and Southern Africa, with more than 7,500 full-time staff, and we aim to serve 1 million farm families by 2020.
Job Requirements
- A First Degree in Mass Communication, Political Science, Law or any relevant area. Candidates with training in communications and policy will be given additional consideration.
- Work experience in government, business or NGO environments, especially work planning and executing on task.
- At least 2 years experience managing government or partner relationships.
- At least 2 years experience producing communication materials for stakeholders engagement.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Experience in research and report writing.
- Collaborative approach; ability to work across many different departments effectively
- Languages: English required
