Karl Flowers is from the Cape Flats born to a single mom and, raised with the help of her extended family. He comes from a humble background. The death of his cousin in 1999 made him make an important decision which has an impact on his final wishes. The Karl Flower Trust is looking for students that could not finance their education to apply for their programme.
The scholarship will include four things that made a significant difference in Karl’s life, namely:
- Education: It will take care of recipients high school fees, a Master’s degree, a diploma or an online course.
- Travel: Recipients will experience the culture of anywhere in the world, that inspires and intrigues them the most.
- Community: Experience a diverse community of friends around the world.
- Mentorship: Recipients will be connected to those that will help them to achieve their dream.
Karl Trust Scholarship Eligibility
Below are the requirements to qualify for the scholarship;
- Applicants must be between the age of 16 to 25 years
- Must be in art or academic field
- Good academic record
- Students from a financially disadvantaged background

To apply for this scholarship you will have to express your art skills to the scholarship board through writing or video, just do it the best way you can, you will send it to this email [email protected]. The board will then send you an application form to fill.
