HOW TO GET BOSTON COLLEGE STUDENT PORTAL USERNAME

All Boston College student, faculty, and staff member have a unique username immediately you become a student or staff of the college. The username is some variation to your last name. Most BC community-restricted electronic services and resources, including email and Agora Portal, require authentication by entering your username and password. Usually, a student is given his / her username in a letter or during orientation. New faculty and staff receive their usernames during the hiring process. Those that do not know their username can contact the Help Center at 617-552-HELP (4357) or the Technology Consultant if you are faculty/staff.

HOW TO CHANGE BOSTON COLLEGE STUDENT PORTAL USERNAME

Usernames are created by a BC computer automatically and should not be changed unless there is a very good reason, such as a security issue. To change your username, you can contact the Help Center at 617-552-HELP (4357) or the Technology Consultant if you are faculty/staff. The changing of username normally takes several days.
