About the Aspire Leaders Program:

The Aspire Leaders Program is designed for students facing social and financial challenges. To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• First-generation university attendees (parents did not complete an undergraduate degree)
• From a low-income background
• Ages 18-26
• Current undergraduate students or recent graduates
• Students impacted by armed conflict and/or natural disasters

Program Opportunities:

Participants in the Aspire Leaders Program will have the chance to:

• Access fully-funded HarvardX courses and leadership development tools.
• Engage in live seminars with Harvard and world-class faculty.
• Collaborate with a global community of peers in virtual classrooms.
• Apply for grant and mentorship opportunities.

Travel Requirements:

The Aspire Leaders Program is entirely conducted online. All you need is access to the internet and a mobile device, laptop, tablet, or computer.

English Language Proficiency:

While all stages of the program are delivered in English, applicants with English as their second language or those not fully fluent are still encouraged to apply.

Eligibility for Previous Applicants:

If you applied for the 2022 program, you are eligible to reapply, unless you are an alumnus who completed all five stages. Congratulations on your dedication!

Timeline:

Applicants who apply by the Early Action Deadline will form the first cohort to progress through each stage in 2023. Acceptance to Stage 1 will be on a rolling basis. The Aspire Leaders Program is competitive, so early application submission is strongly encouraged.

Once accepted, students will undergo a multi-stage selection process, concluding with the finalist program delivered virtually 4-5 months after the application deadline.
