PSG is an independent financial services group, the company is specialized in proving services like financial planning, investments, unit trusts, stockbroking, life insurance, healthcare, estate and trust services, personal and commercial short term insurance. The company was founded in 1998 and has been operating since then, presently the company has moved beyond the shore of South Africa, they are also in Mauritius and Namibia.

 

The companies offer services 3 major categories: “PSG Insure” majorly for commercial and personal short-term insurance; “PSG Wealth” operate on individual, family and business wealth management services; and “PSG Asset Management” for global funds, segregated portfolios and local unit trusts for individuals and institutions.

BURSARY COVERAGE

The PSG Bursary is available for students who are studying a degree programme and are willing to further their career in the financial services industry.

The bursary will be awarded to students within the following fields of study:

The bursary will take care of students tuition fees, prescribed textbooks etc. Apart from financial support, students will also befit from:

  • mentoring, coaching and support
  • entrance into the graduate programme

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must meet the following requirements before they can be considered for PSG bursary.

  • South African citizen
  • Completed Matric
  • Studying towards a postgraduate degree qualification within one of the above fields of study (or in final year of Engineering undergraduate degree)
  • Achieved a minimum overall average of 65%
  • Wish to further a career in the financial services sector
  • Be calm and work well under pressure
  • Have a good teamwork
  • Pay close attention to detail
  • Resilient
  • Energetic
  • Solution-oriented
  • Ambitious
  • Self-motivated
